About new mini excavators
Mini excavators dig trenches, break out and lift on sites where a full-size machine cannot get in. Size, tail swing and attachment choice decide what a machine can actually do on your job.
Typical range
- Operating weights from about 1 t to 9 t
- Quick hitch with bucket, breaker and thumb options
- Zero or reduced tail swing options
What we confirm before we match you

- Depth and type of digging
- Duration and transport
Common questions
Do I need a licence to hire a mini excavator?
Not for use on site. If it has to travel on the road, registration and insurance apply, and the operator needs competent-machine training.
