About new order pickers
Order pickers carry the operator up with the forks so whole cases can be picked from the rack at height. They are the standard answer for multi-line distribution with a large number of stock keeping units.
Typical range
- Pick heights commonly 6 m to 12 m
- Capacities typically 1 t at platform height
- Single or double deep pick options
What we confirm before we match you
We check these on the phone so suppliers quote for the job you actually have, then send it to no more than three of them.
- Pick height and lines picked per shift
- Aisle width and rack layout
- Whether the operator or the pallet is picked
Common questions
Is an order picker the same as a reach truck?
No. A reach truck sends the forks up on their own. An order picker lifts the operator too, so you can pick individual items rather than whole pallets.
