About used pallet racking
Adjustable pallet racking is the standard steel storage system for pallets, with beams that move up and down the frames. Suppliers design it around your pallet sizes, weights, building height and floor.
Typical range
- Beam spans commonly 1.8 m to 2.7 m
- Loadings commonly 1 t to 4 t per level
- Single or double deep, up to mezzanine height
What we confirm before we match you
We check these on the phone so suppliers quote for the job you actually have, then send it to no more than three of them.
- Pallet size and weight per pallet
- Number of pallet positions required
- Clear building height and floor type
Common questions
How much pallet racking do I need?
Count the pallets you must store, add a spare for put-away, then let the building height and aisle widths decide the layout. A supplier can draw it once you send a floor plan.
Does racking need to be inspected?
Yes. A written inspection at least every twelve months is normal practice, with trained staff checking for damage day to day.
