Common questions
How do I work out how much racking I need?
Start with your peak pallet count and add 10 to 15 percent for growth. Your clear height and forklift lift height set how many beam levels you can fit.
Is used racking safe?
Used racking can be safe if it is inspected, undamaged and installed to the manufacturer's load ratings. Ask the supplier how stock is checked.
Does racking need to be inspected?
Yes. Racking should be inspected at least once a year by a competent person, with regular in-house checks in between.
