Common questions
Can I hire plant with an operator?
Yes. Many plant hire companies offer operated hire as well as self-drive. Say which you need in the enquiry.
What affects the cost of plant hire?
Machine size, hire length, delivery distance, attachments and whether an operator is included.
Do I need a licence to operate plant?
There is no single legal licence, but most sites require operators to hold a recognised card such as CPCS or NPORS for the machine they use.
